Working Leads (Status)
The default status for Leads is "Uncontacted." As you work the lead, adjust the status according to the options below. Log each call, e-mail, and face-to-face meeting in our CRM system.
Lead Status options:
- Uncontacted - lead has been identified, but not contacted.
- Contacted - left msg. - lead has been contacted, but has not interacted. Examples include e-mail and voicemail left.
- Conversation - lead is interacting with us, through phone, e-mail, or face-to-face meetings.
- Qualified - lead has been qualified as a potential opportunity or resource (meaningful relationship established, etc., but not an opportunity). At this stage, leads must be converted.
- Archive - lead is not currently interested in or a fit for our services, but could be a fit or a resource in the future. This may be due to budget constraints or a lack of internal resources. Leads at this status should be contacted on a regular basis to assess their current situation. These leads are also a good target for our newsletter. You must indicate a reason the lead was archived.
- Disqualified - lead is not a fit and is not expected to be a fit or a resource in the future. You must indicate a reason the lead was disqualified.
